Description
The NetVu Communicator is designed for use in conjunction with a TCP/IP Video Server and provides a complete solution for a Remote Video Alarm System.
The new emerging codes of practice for remote video monitoring demand far more capability than previously available from video transmission systems. When combined with a NetVu Vanguard or Aquila, a complete code compliant solution is possible in a single package.

ALARM INPUTS
24 individual EOL resistor tamper proof inputs, providing Secure, Alarm and Tamper indication on two cores. Inputs can be freely allocated to any operational function, e.g. Intruder, Exit terminator, Tamper loop etc.
RELAY OUTPUTS
8 individual light duty outputs - 250ma @ 12V
1 medium duty output - 1A @ 24VAC
AUDIO OUTPUTS
Two individual 10 watt, 8W drives, with Hi/Low volume settings. External tones and message output also available as RCA phono, for connection to an external PA.
ISDN TA
Integrated TA module from PSL, providing line power monitoring, and provision for D-Channel activity monitoring (available shortly). A second DCE interface allows future implementation of ISDN
RedCARE. DCE Interface is a 25 pin D-type and the Line Interface a RJ45

VIDEO SERVER INTERFACE
Single RS232 channel, providing full access to all on-board features from C-Basic script language. Full support for NetVu Vanguard and NetVu Aquila.
RedCARE STU INTERFACE
8 o/c transistor drives, for direct connection to STU PIN inputs, and 2 inputs under ARC control.
SWITCH 8 INTERFACE
Provides termination for two Switch8 video and alarm networks, each providing expansion to up to 64 internal video verified alarm detectors.
Provides conversion from twisted pair video to 75W coax, with software controlled video correction.
